I picked up some JCR Offroad parts for my Jeep, and while they’ve held up okay on rocks and mud, I can’t say the whole experience was great. The parts seem solid enough once they’re on, but the fitment was more annoying than I expected and I had to mess with a few things to get everything sitting right. Shipping wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t quick either. For the price, I thought it would be a smoother install and a little more polished overall. It works, but I’m not exactly impressed

I can’t say for sure it’s only the bumper, but after putting it on, my Jeep definitely feels more front-heavy than it did before. The bumper was heavier than I expected, and the front end just seems to dip and handle a little different now...

I had to reach out to JCR Offroad because one of the parts showed up with a small problem. Not going to get into the whole thing, but support replied quick and didn’t turn it into some huge hassle. They just asked for a few pictures and my order info, then got the warranty replacement sent out. The only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is that a couple of the follow-up emails took longer than I expected. Overall though, they handled it fine and I’d still order from them again.

I tried placing an order on jcroffroad.com, it was more frustrating than it should’ve been. It’s a simple thing, add item to cart, check out, done — but the site made it feel like a chore. Pages were loading slowly, the cart kept glitching, and the checkout process dragged on forever. At one point I wasn’t even sure if my order had actually gone through. For what their stuff costs, the online ordering experience really should be smoother. Definitely not a great first impression.

I was in a good mood when the parts showed up because they felt solid and the price was totally fair. The only thing that kind of bummed me out was the shipping cost, wish that had been a little cheaper.

I ordered a bumper from JCR Offroad and wanted to like it, but once it showed up it didn’t really match what I thought I was paying for. The pictures and price made it seem like it would be a clean, high-quality piece, but some of the welds looked uneven and the powder coat already had a couple chips right out of the box. It did eventually mount up after some messing around, so it’s not like it was unusable, but it definitely gave me that bait-and-switch feeling. Not the worst purchase ever, just disappointing considering the cost.

I thought this was going to be a simple install, but wow, it ended up being way more frustrating than expected. The instructions were confusing, and a couple of the parts just didn’t seem to line up right, which made me wonder if I was missing something or if the pieces were off. I kept stopping and checking things over, then getting annoyed, then trying again. Anyway, after spending way too much time on it, I ended up giving up halfway through.

There are a lot of options to customize things, which I do like. But picking through them can get kinda confusing and not super obvious at first. It works, just wish it was a little easier to figure out.

I emailed twice, waited around, figured maybe they were busy or backed up, but days went by and still nothing helpful. I tried calling too and that didn’t really go anywhere either, which just made the whole thing more annoying. I totally get that shops get slammed, especially in this space, but when you’re trying to spend money or sort out an order, some kind of update would be nice. the lack of communication was frustrating enough that I probably wouldn’t order from them again.

The bumper looks alright once it’s on, but getting it to fit with my winch and lights was way more of a hassle than I expected. I was already rushed trying to get everything done, and then I ended up having to trim parts and run out for different bolts. For the price, I was hoping it would be a much smoother install.

I picked up a skid setup from JCR Offroad for my Jeep, it gave me the clearance I was hoping for. I’m not dragging or scraping in the usual spots anymore, like the rutted trail near my house, the steep driveway at my buddy’s place, random rocky patches, little ledges, and those awkward dips that used to catch me every time. So in that sense, it definitely did the job. The install wasn’t terrible, but it also wasn’t exactly smooth the whole way through. A couple of the holes needed some convincing, some lining up, some loosening and tightening again, that kind of thing. Shipping was fine, nothing special, not super fast but not a problem either. Overall I’m happy with it and glad I bought it, but it wasn’t a totally perfect experience

I wasn’t impressed with JcrOffroad. The whole site looks a bit outdated and cluttered, and some of the pages just don’t feel very polished. On my screen, the photos and text didn’t line up well, which made browsing more frustrating than it needed to be. For a shop site, I’d expect a cleaner, more professional layout, so overall it didn’t feel like a great experience...

The parts seem solid overall, so that’s good. But the quality control? Apparently it was taking the day off. One bracket had rough weld spatter, and one of the holes was just slightly off because, you know, precision is overrated. I did get it installed, but for the price, I definitely expected cleaner work

The kit itself was decent and looked like it would do the job, but some of the hardware was missing when I opened it up. Frustrating. I was still able to make it work, but it definitely slowed things down.

The bumper looked really good when I first put it on, so I was happy at first. But after just two rough days out on the trail, it ended up bending more than I expected. For something meant for off-road use, I thought it would be stronger. If you’re mostly going for looks, it might be fine, but if you’re planning to hit tougher trails, I’d be cautious and maybe look for something sturdier.

It started chipping way sooner than I expected. I wasn’t even using it that heavily, so I’m not really sure if it’s the material or just... I don’t know, but it was disappointing.

They kept me in the loop on my order and got back to my question quick tbh. No confusion or weird back-and-forth, everything was clear enough. I’d def order from JCR Offroad again.

I bought this from JCR Offroad, and the instructions were rough. A lot of the steps didn’t really make sense, some parts felt like they were missing entirely, and the pictures weren’t much help. I ended up having to guess more than I should have during the install. It was frustrating, and it also made me wonder a bit about the overall quality if the documentation is this careless.

It arrived around the time they said it would, so no complaints there. My wife was glad it showed up when expected

It took longer than I expected, which was kind of annoying. That said, it wasn’t the worst wait ever, and I guess I’d still say it was fine overall.
